Default Add some heros from prophesies and factions

Why can't we have Devona, Cynn, Eve, Nika ect made into heros or does anet think they will lose money from this, or unbalance the game somehow?
Will people not buy nightfall if they could get heros without it?
I wouldn't think so.

I'm not saying add heaps of heros just say 4 from each other campaign.
Just for some variety
What do you think?

If you add heroes to prophercies and factions, then you need hero skill trainers in those two campaigns.

Anet wont go back and touch previous campaigns, and they dont have reason to. Its too much work when we dont really need it

Plus heroes are one of NightFalls selling points, and Anet wont change that. They are adding new heroes anyway in GW:EN, they might include older characters from older campaigns.

But you'l have to wait for GW:EN before we get major changes like that.

What do you guys work for Anet or what?
I think nightfall has more to it than heros.
They go back and change things all the time.
You should not be able to get these hero's until you get to the point where you can get them as HENCHIES, which you can, you still get them but it would be nice if they were heros instead of just henchies.
Dont really need it? well i suppose not but then we dont really need any improvements do we.

I love it when people get snappy just because you stick up for Anet and defend them, and speak in favour of them.

Its like you have broken the law, and your only allowed to say negative things about them. God forbid someone praise them for all the hard work they do, or speaks in favour of them.

But if you dont hate the establishment, then your not cool.

I would love to see Heroes in prophercies and factions, but it would require some major updates to both campaigns with adding hero skill trainers, hero armor traders (with none-elite and elite) and a way to earn those armors.

Its alot of work to do add that to two previous campaigns, which dont really need fixed.

But yes im going to defen Anet here and speak up for them.... they are doing alot of work at the minute with a new expansion and a sequal, along with other issues.

To start work on major updates to previous campaigns doesnt make sense. But if they do make huge changes to prophercies, faction or nightfall, those changes will come when GW:EN is released.

It makes more sense to release major updates along with expansions, to make it easier. And they are releasing new heroes for GW:EN anyway, and those might include names from prophercies and factions.

I just say, be patient and wait for what GW:EN brings.

And you talk about not needing many improvements?

Which ones dont we need?

The storage increase,
The ability to upgrade all armor,
Hard Mode,
Dye previews,
Skill bar pinging and saving,
The introduction of blessings into factions,
Faction related skills (sunspear, luxon, kuzack),
Loot scaling,
New titles,
etc etc etc...

....if your going to suggest those arent important updates then Im worried. But those arent HUGE updates, they didnt require major changes to the game. Adding Heroes would, as Ive explained with everything that goes with heroes.

You cant compare the small updates they have made recently to adding Heroes to 2 campaigns.

I'd like to see them available as heroes, it would be nice to be able to customise them, but they're not really needed, and there's a lot of things I'd like to see updated and added first, before this.

They don't have to be the current NPC's.

Add new heros, throw in a few hero trainers, code's already in the game for that, make a few quests while they're at it to flesh out the story a bit more.

No reason not to show any love for Prophecies and Factions.

All day long, people speak before thinking in threads.

Each campain has it's own thing to make it viable. ANet is a business, they want to make money. If all the campains all had tyhe same stuff why would you buy all three?

Ya want Heros? Buy NF

YA wanna AB? Buy Factions

Ya wanna Farm an IDS? Go buy Prophicies

Ya Want inscribalble weapons? Go Buy NF

The list goes on and on.

Wait a second, isnt Olias from Proph and Zenmai from factions? I still don't see a hero trainer in Either campaign. I know now you get the from quests started in NF but when I first got them the quests started in LA (Olias) and KC (Zenmai). So it wouldn't be that far of a reach

As for more Heros, I am not so sure. We will get 10 more in GWQEN ad we still can only use 3 at a time, 6 with a buddy. seems like alot of mouths to feed op. 16 more (3 proph, 3 Factions, and 10 GW:EN) seems like alot when adding to the 12(?) heros in NF

/staring to sign, pulls back thinks, sets pin down and bangs head on desk

EDIT: sorry I must have misread this: You want Hero w/o buying Nightfall? Not really onboard with this. Nightfall brought us heros and GW:EN will give em too.

You do realize this is Sardelac Sanitarium, where people make suggestions they would like to see included in the game.

Therefore, someone made a suggestion, and we know which campaign has which feature, but some players would like to see these features crossed over to other campaigns.

The same thing that happens when you take Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Margrid, or Zhed into the Command Post (go ahead, try it), I imagine, your version gets a generic name...

Olias is from Tyria and Zenmai from Cantha, that's more than enough in my opinion. I don't see any reason to go back and add more when they aren't needed and there are more pressing matters they could be addressing.
